Jaguar F-Pace Deep Clean in Rugby — Tree Sap and Sand, Gone

This Velocity Blue Jaguar F-Pace R-Sport came to us in Rugby for a full Deep Clean — and it needed every bit of it. The paintwork was covered in baked-on tree sap and the carpets and footwells were full of sand. The brief was simple: bring it back to its best, inside and out.

Tree sap baked into the paintwork

Tree sap is one of the worst contaminants for paint. It bonds hard to the clear coat and, left sitting in the sun, it starts to etch the lacquer and dull the finish. We snow-foamed the whole car to lift the loose grime, then safely softened and removed the sap through a thorough decontamination wash — no scrubbing, no marring — before it could do any lasting damage.

Carpets and mats full of sand

Inside told its own story — the carpets and footwells were packed with sand. We lifted the mats out, worked shampoo deep into every fibre with a rotary drill brush, then hot-extracted the lot so the dirt comes out of the car rather than just moving around it.

Once dry, the footwells came up fresh — no grit underfoot, no dusty fibres, just clean carpet and conditioned leather throughout the cabin.

Wheels and engine bay detailed properly

A proper Deep Clean is about the parts you do not normally see, too. The wheels came off the car and into the tub for a thorough deep clean — faces, barrels and tyres — while the engine bay was foamed and gently detailed by hand to bring back a clean, factory-fresh look under the bonnet.

The result

Finished, the F-Pace looked transformed — the blue back to a deep, wet-look gloss, the wheels gleaming, the interior fresh and the engine bay tidy. Exactly what a Deep Clean is for: a complete reset for the whole car.
