1. About These Terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of the services provided by Blue Horizon Detailing, based in Rugby, Warwickshire. By booking a service with us, you agree to the terms set out below.
Blue Horizon Detailing is a sole trader operating a premium mobile vehicle appearance service across Warwickshire and selected surrounding areas. Our services include vehicle valeting, detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating application, SMART repairs and alloy wheel refurbishment.
These terms are subject to change at any time. The version displayed on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
2. Booking & Cancellation
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a quote acceptance or agreed booking confirmation from Blue Horizon Detailing. We operate a quote-led booking system — services are not available for instant online booking without prior quotation.
We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of a confirmed booking. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation charge may apply to cover any costs already incurred.
Cancellation on the day of the appointment — unless in genuine emergency — may incur a charge of up to 50% of the quoted service price.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings in circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather conditions that would compromise the quality of our work or the safety of our team. In such cases, no charge will be made and we will rebook at the earliest available opportunity.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due on completion of the agreed service unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed in writing prior to the booking.
We accept payment by bank transfer, cash or other agreed methods as confirmed at the time of booking. We do not hold card details on file.
All prices quoted are inclusive of any applicable charges unless otherwise stated. VAT is not currently charged as Blue Horizon Detailing is not VAT registered.
In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to pursue the debt through appropriate legal channels.
4. Our Liability
We take all reasonable care when working on your vehicle and use professional-grade products appropriate for the surfaces being treated. Our team is trained and experienced in all services we offer.
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, defects or conditions that were not noted or agreed prior to work commencing. We encourage all customers to point out any pre-existing damage, chips, scratches or paintwork issues before work begins so that these can be documented.
In the unlikely event that damage is caused directly by our work, we will investigate the matter fairly and take responsibility for any damage proven to have been caused by our negligence. Any claim must be raised at the time of collection or immediately upon inspection of the completed work.
We carry appropriate public liability insurance. Details are available on request.
5. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising from our services is limited to the cost of the service provided for which the claim relates.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including but not limited to loss of income, loss of use of the vehicle, or any third-party costs arising from any issue with our service.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully limited.
6. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these terms or from services provided by Blue Horizon Detailing shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
